I’m really proud to post that after 2 years, 4 months and 16 posts, my humble webpage has reached 10,000 views on the 31st August, 2013!
I admit, most of my older lyrics were rife with mistakes, but that’ll get better with time (smiles cheekily). Anyway, keep having fun singing, and Ctrl-D this website if you really want to!
First off, congratulations! Providing romaji lyrics is a highly appreciated service (if only because I love being able to read along songs as they are being sung). Thanks for the follow and Happy blogging!
Would you know of anyone who is willing to translate Ashita e no Michi from Tari Tari into English?
Haha, thanks, I didn’t expect that you’ld comment so soon though XD
As for those lyrics, I had nothing better to do last night, so I just translated them to kill time. To be honest though, I actually like Sail Away To Sky better, if only because I think the full glory of Hayami Saori’s singing voice comes out better in that song…
As for the lyrics, here’s an unpolished, possibly overly literal translation:
In the middle of the night, when the sky is filled with stars
Not sleeping, looking up into space
Shooting stars, in the night that I discovered was
A fragment of the dream that I long for
The song of hope reverberates as we sing along
Everyone playing instruments together
Working hard, in our awkward ways
(The sky that we flew to, pouring down in a slope)
The wrapped up sounds of the sea
I want to hear forevermore
An empty space that will end someday
Scorching my heart
The radiance of this moment
The road to tomorrow~
During the downpour, I took shelter from the rain
The rain passing through the skies right now
I found the seven-coloured rainbow
A fragment of the dream that I long for
Each of the different paths
Steadily advancing towards the distant future
Working hard, in our awkward ways
(The sky that we flew to, we’ll definitely fulfil our wishes!)
The swelling emotions in our chests
That nostalgic melody
In order not to forget to reach for it
The scenery in front of our eyes
Holding hands with our companions
The road to tomorrow~
The roadside trees, the hill road
The blooming dandelions by the asphalt
In the middle of the revolving seasons
Blending in, with one step
(The sky that we flew to, pouring down in a slope)
The wrapped up sounds of the sea
I want to hear forevermore
An empty space that will end someday
Scorching my heart
The radiance of this moment
The road to tomorrow
To continue towards how it was like before~
Much appreciated! If I may request permission to use this elsewhere, that’d be appreciated. I’ll be certain to cite it and refer to your site if I do get permission 🙂
Go ahead~
